06/20/1890 Notice how William Conder's last name is spelled! The bridge and road just west of Dave Hale's farm is a misspelling of Conder's name as the bridge and road were on his land. The road is currently spelled like the bird, condor.

11/28/1890 School District #4 was the first official school District in South Tillamook County although studetns were undoubtedly taught by parents and perhaps others before the school was built. It was located (and perhaps this is the 2nd building for District #4) on the north side of Old Woods Road at about milepost 1 1/2.
